Heafner Health believes the patient and practitioner should be in charge of healthcare decisions, not a 3rd party payer! We are an 'out of network' provider and do not have direct contracts with insurance companies. Heafner Health does accept flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.
Our philosophy: Why Heafner Health chooses to not accept insurance
The healthcare market is rapidly changing. While many physical therapy companies accept insurance, Heafner Health is promoting a shift to cash-based services. With cash-based payment, we can afford to offer you one-on-one treatment sessions. Our individualized sessions lead to faster results and quicker outcomes. Most importantly, you dictate how much care you need! Our philosophy places you in front of the healthcare practitioner while eliminating all the other healthcare red tape.
In our minds, the decision to not accept insurance was simple. Most insurance co-payments these days range from $30-60 dollars per physical therapy visit. Most physical therapy clinics will see each patient from 12-16 visits. At Heafner Health we do not have co-payments. We charge $155 per session and hope to treat you for three to five visits.

In addition to being a cheaper treatment option, Heafner Health provides 100% one-on-one care. You will not be transferred to a technician or aide after 15-minutes of care. All services will be performed by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. We will provide each patient with an invoice which they can personally submit to their insurance carrier for reimbursement. Additionally, Heafner Health accepts Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). These accounts are pre-tax income and can save you a considerable amount of money if utilized.
